

ACW provides a safe, sober, and stable environment where women can have their special needs addressed by professional staff in a supportive environment. ACW’s residential addiction recovery program was the first on the West Coast exclusively for women.
Currently funded for 18 beds, the six-month program provides residents with intensive alcohol and drug recovery services. Outpatient Treatment provides up to 12 months of recovery assistance in English and Spanish for women while they pursue education and employment opportunities, and develop skills and receive support to assume family obligations.
Both the residential and outpatient programs integrate the 12 step method with individual and group social support techniques and effective research based clinical protocols, creating a holistic approach to alcohol and drug addiction recovery.
